This list presents items that Alan Anderson printed for various authors and publishers, such as G.F. Sims, Alan Clodd, and the Enitharmon Press.
Alan Anderson did not assign numbers to commissioned items in either of his two bibliographies. Halliwell adds four items not present in the printer's bibliographies, A Selection of Blocks, from the collection of John A. Birkbeck (1971), Julian Nangle's Twenty Three Love Poems (1979), a probable omission, as this publication falls chronologically between the periods covered by the two bibliographies, In Memory of Norman Peterkin 1886-1982 (1982), and Snake by D.H. Lawrence (1984), a scarce edition of twelve copies printed for the bookseller Anthony Rota and his wife, Jean.
Commissioned works are here divided in two parts:
Works printed between 1955 and 1990, i.e. works printed during the life of the Tragara Press.
In this list, works are presented in the order they are listed by Alan Anderson in his two bibliographies. This list further contains two items not listed by Alan Anderson: Twenty Three Love Poems, 1979, and Snake, 1984.
A Selection of Blocks is, here, not considered a commission, but rather a production that Alan Anderson and Alex Frizzell did together in honour of a recently deceased colleague and good friend. It is therefore listed together with other Miscellaneous items. In Memory of Norman Peterkin 1886-1982, a funeral tribute, is listed under Ephemera.
Works printed after the closing of the Tragara Press, in 1991. These works are ordered by year and title.
