The major sources for the present Tragara Press catalogue are the two bibliographies compiled and published by the printer himself in 1979 and in 1991 (covering the periods from 1954-1979 and 1979-1991 respectively), the listings of public libraries such as the National Library of Scotland and the University of Delaware Library, and holdings in the hands of private collectors, while catalogues from booksellers like George Sims (1923-1999), Peter Jolliffe (1947-2007), James Fergusson and Peter Ellis serve as a valuable resource.
